ActiveMine™ is a two-way voice communications and tracking network solution designed for harsh underground coal mining environments.
ActiveMine™ technology is a fiber and Wi-Fi mesh network which can support any standard Wi-Fi device or IP-based application. The two initial ActiveMine™ applications are digital voice (VoIP) and personnel tracking. The system is designed to improve mine safety, comply with new regulations, and through high-speed data communications, to enhance productivity.
