TORONTO, May 4, 2010 - Active Control Technology Inc. (TSX-V:ACT), a leading provider of advanced wireless communication, productivity and safety systems, today announced that it received an order for its ActiveMine tracking and communication system to be installed in a mine planned to be opened later this year. This is the second order of ActiveMine associated with this customer. The first installation commenced earlier this fiscal year.

The mine is expected to be producing coal sometime in the next three to six months. It is also expected that the installation of ActiveMine should begin sometime in the latter half of calendar 2010.
